Pakistan: Ministry developing policy on climate change adaptation

The Pakistan-based, International News reports on a recent meeting held with a delegation from the international NGO, Oxfam and the minister of the environment for Pakistan, Mr Hameedullah Jan Afridi.

Mr Jan Afridi stated that the ministry was in process of developing National Climate Change Policy and National Adaptation and Mitigation Action Plan. Views on humanitarian response, preparedness and disaster risk reduction and climate change were also shared at the meeting.
