Description
Many buildings use fired bricks or concrete blocks with thick mortar joints for wall construction. Deforestation, high carbon release and embodied energy are involved in these materials. In many countries, the cost of cement is prohibitive. This presentation introduces the technology and advantages of using simple, manually operated Rams to produce interlocking earth blocks that require no mortar joints.
