Description

This interactive presentation emphasizes how Participatory 3-Dimensional Mapping (P3DM), a cheap and easy-to-reproduce tool, helps in bringing communities, NGOs, scientists and local governments around the same table for discussing disaster risk reduction (DRR). Ultimately P3DM enables the integration of local and outsiders' knowledge and bottom-up and top-down actions in DRR.
