Disaster response and climate change in the Pacific: country reports
These four country reports assess the vulnerability to climate change of four Pacific island nations: Fiji, Cook Islands, Vanuatu, and Samoa. Each report is composed of six sections: (i) section one explains the context of the study in the Pacific region; (ii) section two explains the research methodology of the project; (iii) section three explains the background of the country, including climate change impacts and disaster mitigation agencies; (iv) section four identifies the humanitarian needs of the country and corresponding national agencies which are responsible for addressing those needs; (v) section five identifies the determining factors of adaptive capacity to climate change in each nation; (vi) section six concludes the study with a set of country-specific recommendations.
