Introduction

The 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference or COP27, is the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference and is being held from 6 November until 18 November 2022 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Globally, the increasing frequency and intensity of extreme weather events is impacting the lives and livelihoods of millions of people. Rising global average temperature and rapid global warming are causing alarming consequences on human beings and all other forms of life on earth.

Collective efforts to combat the adverse impacts of climate change are necessary/crucial if we are to secure a sustainable future for all.
