13th Cannes water symposium

The 13th edition will take place as every year in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes from 29 June - 1 July 2011, and will gather professionals, scientists and political decision-makers, all specialists of water and environment.

The Cannes Water Symposium is intended to be:

- A perfect place for business meetings.
- A window on technological innovations.
- A key scientific platform.

A few topics discussed in the past 13 years:

- Water and the city including:

Sanitation, climatic changes, marketing and water supply, collaboration between city councils, sustainable development, water and  rights, water saving, environment, risk management, social management of water, management of the industrial efluents, innovation treatment, resources' optimization, small and big cycle of water, public health, treatment of wastewater, etc.

- Water and the sea including:

Coastal and sea interaction, marina issues, coastal protection, satellite security, sea surveillance, etc.
