This conference will offer a world class technical program encompassing traditional IGARSS topics and new topics reflecting the theme of the 2013 conference, "Building a sustainable earth through remote sensing." The theme was selected to emphasize the issues that most affect the Earth's environment, and the human impact on the planet.

The conference will include the following sessions:

  • Satellite sensing of oceans winds
  • Hazard/disaster mapping
  • Earthquake and crustal movement
  • Tsunamis and flooding
