The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Nigeria, with support of the United Nation Development Program, (UNDP) will be holding the 2017 Meeting of the National Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction.

The meeting will examine and share experiences on the successes achieved on the HFA and set out plans for the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015 - 2030. Participants will be drawn from Line Ministries, States, LGA's, NGO's the Private Sector, Academia and the Media.
