Beijing International Disaster Reduction and Emergency Technology & Equipment Expo 2009 was the leading show in disaster reduction field in China. In the first edition, the fair attracted nearly 300 exhibitors and more than 50,000 visitors including 20% government officers with the area of 10,000 sqrs.

The organizers are pleased to invite worldwide firms, research & design institutes, study units, relevant associations and other organizations to participate in the 2nd Beijing International Disaster Reduction and Emergency Technology & Equipment Expo 2011 to promote the disaster prevention and relief products and services to China's emerging disaster reduction and emergency market. The fair is the largest platform and most important event of its kind in China with billions of national and municipal procurement. On the coming of China Disaster Reduction Day (12th May), Beijing IDREE will be held in May 8-10, 2011 at China World Trade Center.

The event co-organized by Office of the State Committee for Disaster Reduction, National Disaster Reduction Center of Ministry of Civil Affairs, China Association for Disaster Prevention and Trade Development Bureau of Ministry of Commerce, PRC.
