The Second International Conference on Urban Risks (ICUR2020) will be held in Lisbon on June 23-25, 2020. ICUR2020 is a bilingual event and it is devoted to all professionals involved in urban risks issues such as policy makers, geographers, urban planners, engineers, civil protection technicians, researchers as well as stakeholders with responsibilities in the field of reduction of the impact of natural and technological hazards on urban societies.

The conference will cover various issues related to the management, assessment and mitigation of natural and technological risks, as well as their impact on health and societies. Particular emphasis will be placed on the risks associated with climate change, with signi­ficant impacts on urban areas, and on risk communication.

All researchers are invited to submit an extended abstract (max. 4 pages) for the ICUR2020 conference. The final deadline is January 31, 2020.
