4th expert group meeting on the Great East Japan Earthquake
The Fourth Expert Group Meeting aims to share experiences and lessons on reducing impacts of future disasters, through discussions amongst experts and researchers from Japan and elsewhere, with reports from universities and organizations engaged in the Tohoku recovery.
The discussions will focus on the key messages from the lessons on recovery and reconstruction for the post-2015 global framework for disaster risk reduction.
The conclusions and recommendations drawn from this meeting will be reflected in the Recovery Status Report on the Great East Japan Earthquake as well as the Asia Pacific and the global reports on Disaster Risk Reduction.
