The disability-inclusive disaster risk reduction (DiDRR) e-learning course, newly available via Kaya Connect, aims to address gaps in global disaster risk reduction practices by focusing on the inclusion of persons with disabilities. This pioneering initiative was led by CBM Global in collaboration with the Africa Disability Forum and the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) and supported by the Global Greengrants Fund and the CBM Global Federation. As an official launch of this DiDRR e-Learning course, this webinar will provide a platform to discuss challenges, insights, and practical solutions for implementing disability-inclusive DRR strategies. The session will include a panel discussion and demonstration of the e-learning course.
This webinar welcomes participation of all stakeholders from the national and sub-national governments, academia, civil society organisations, particularly persons with disabilities and their representative organisations (Organisations of Persons with Disabilities).
