AFAC 2011 conference

AFAC's annual conference, currently run in conjunction with the Bushfire CRC, is among the largest on the Australasian conference calendar. It is one of AFAC's most important activities, fulfilling a number of crucial functions:

- Sharing of information and creation of new knowledge
- Professional development forum for fire and emergency services
- Networking between emergency management professionals
- Exposure to trade suppliers

The conference features international and local speakers across all areas of interest to the industry. It also features a large trade suppliers exhibition and a major poster exhibition. Trade support of the conference as well as many AFAC/Bushfire CRC projects is substantial.
