Description

This event is a three-hour forum introducing UNISDR Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies (ARISE) to the Japanese audience. Programme includes panel discussions on private sector contribution to DRR and resilience building, with good practices presentations by arise member companies based in Japan, and a keynote by Dr. Satoru Nishikawa.

All presentations and discussion will be in Japanese. No translation will be provided.

Target audience

Private sector companies engaged in creating shared value. All stakeholders.

About ARISE

The UNISDR Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies (ARISE) builds on and integrates the work of the UNISDR Private Sector Partnership (PSP) and the R!SE Initiative to support the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030.
