The course aims to provide participants with in-depth knowledge on the policies and regulatory frameworks for the development and management of climate change adaptation strategies. Participants will learn how to handle climate change issues with practical and sustainable solutions.

The topics include:

  • Singapore's policies and regulatory frameworks for climate change issues and developments
  • Economic evaluation, costs and benefits of mitigation and adaptation measures
  • Master plan and road map for national climate change management
  • Effective regulations and enabling legislation
  • Physical, structural, social, financing and insurance frameworks
  • Sustainable risk management.
