About 
Medellín has been recognized as a Resilience Hub under the MCR2030 initiative, standing out in the implementation of gender-sensitive public policies in DRR. This dialogue will analyze how the city has strengthened its Public Policy for Gender Equality for Urban and Rural Women and the importance of the Gender Equality Observatory in local governance. 

📌 What to expect? 

  • Presentation of Medellín’s gender mainstreaming strategy in DRR. 

  • Discussion on the impact of the Gender Equality Observatory for Women on planning and decision-making. 

  • Insights on the implementation of the Gender Equality Seal in the Medellín 2024-2027 Development Plan. 

  • Knowledge exchange with members of the LAC Women’s Network for DRR and MCR2030.
