About

Register for the information session of the workshops "Building resilience to disasters in supply chains: a co-produced innovation tool to understand, plan and invest in climate change adaptation".

This Government of Canada-funded project is led by the Waterloo Climate Institute at the University of Waterloo in Canada in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction in the Americas and the Caribbean (UNDRR), the Trade Facilitation Office of Canada (TFO Canada) and the Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies ARISE Canada.

The goal is to work with Canadian and Latin American companies, trade support organizations and financial institutions to develop tools for adapting to multiple threats and reducing the risk of disasters in supply chains.

The tools will support adaptation strategies, investment plans and disaster loss reduction. The project aims to improve the capacity of businesses and supporting organisations to recognise, plan and invest in climate adaptation.
