COP27 EU side event: Data and systems for understanding and acting on current and future risks
Information
This is a 1-hour event organized by Disaster Risk Management Knowledge Centre (DRMKC) and it will provide a space for presenting and discussing new scientific developments for addressing current and futures risks. The event will have two main focuses: 1) Data and systems for Disaster risk assessment and Recording Damages and Losses in which the Risk Data Hub will be showcased. 2) Quantifying the impacts of climate and socio-economic trends on the risk of future humanitarian crises and disaster: in which the newly released INFORM Climate Change Risk will be presented together with its use for crisis prevention and humanitarian assistance.
