About
We are looking for people involved in providing clinical care, public health, emergency management, and other community services during the COVID-19 pandemic to participate in a workshop in Toowoomba.
This includes:
- Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacist, and other clinicians
- Emergency management representatives
- Organizations involved in supplying medical devices, equipment, food, and other essential services
- Government officials familiar with disaster management
- Environmental health specialists, surveillance and epidemiology experts and health promotion representatives
- Transportation and Critical infrastructure experts and representatives
- Academics, researchers, and educators
By participating, you can identify and explore factors affecting public health system resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic and other disasters. The workshop will also allow you to inform future strategies for strengthening community and health system resilience.
The workshop is part of a research project funded by the World Health Organization titled Systematically identifying and evaluating strategies for strengthening community resilience.
Catering will be provided; a virtual workshop option will also be offered.
