DRR and CCA workshop on Ghana action plan 2011-2015

A two days workshop is organized by the UNDP Country office and the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMO) of Ghana to discuss the new plan of action of Ghana on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) that was prepared by CADRI.

- The first day will be on revising the basic concepts of DRR and CCA, the linkages between disasters and development, and the necessary steps for capacity development in DRR and CCA.
- The second day will be devoted on discussing "the one for all DRR and CCA plan of action of Ghana" with all stakeholders involved in DRR and CCA in the country (100 participants).

The outcome should be an important step for the final validation of the Ghana plan of action for DRR and CCA.
