The aftermath of the February 6, 2023 earthquakes in Turkiye has revealed the urgency to address the notion of “disaster” from multiple perspectives and take the necessary precautions against future earthquakes. Shedding light on the scientific background of earthquakes, the exhibition explores the planning and design principles of future cities with a focus on structural, institutional, spatial, and social aspects.

The exhibition is realized as part of the project Tomorrow’s Cities, supported by the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF). Public programs accompanying the exhibition will be announced via saltonline.org and Salt’s social media channels.
