Flood risk assessment
This course outlines the requirements for flood risk assessments (FRAs) at a site specific scale for individual sites and is aimed at those undertaking studies for proposed developments. Reference will be made to the relevance of strategic flood risk assessments and catchment flood management plans.
Course objectives
To give an overview of the regulatory background behind the need for FRAs, the scope, content and purpose of FRAs, and the methodologies employed within these studies.
