The course is taught by industry experts, including those from DECC, NSW State Emergency Service, Local Government and consultancy this course shows how to develop and implement floodplain risk management (FRM) in accordance with the Floodplain Development Manual.

  • The role of management studies and plans in managing risk to future property
  • The current legislation and policy framework
  • Managing flood risk strategically
  • Manage risk to future development
  • Continuing flood risk and how to manage this risk
  • Effectively implement recommendations.
