With the adoption of the regulation on GMES and its initial operations last year, the European Earth monitoring programme (GMES) is becoming operational. GMES shall comprise, among others, a service providing access to information for climate change monitoring in support of adaptation and mitigation policies.
This conference "GMES and Climate Change" is the opportunity to discuss the extent of existing information for climate change monitoring and debate on the present and future users needs.
