The Insurance industry’s deep-seeded commitment to the long-term is a fundamental component of its operating model and has served it well. But sensible financial conservatism has been accompanied by a hesitancy to embrace the rapid changes in digital technology. As the world is shaped by new political, economic and environmental realities, the industry can ill afford to ignore these changes for long.
