Climate Change is well recognized as the most concerning issue for sustainability of global ecosystem. Atmospheric changes are apparent from observations of increasing global average air and ocean temperature, rapid melting of snow and ice, and rising sea level.

The conference is an effort in this regard having following major aims:

- Identify implications of climate change on Bangladesh and devise framework for sustainable adaptation.

- Exchange of ideas and expertise among participants.

- Enhance the relationship between academics, practitioners and entrepreneurs.

- Focus on assessing international responsibilities and devise collaborative initiatives in research, development and implementation.
