Conference Objectives
1. Share and exchange experiences with national and international experts and other stakeholders on food security issues expected to be impacted by climate change especially in the dry areas.
2. Identify technologies, economic/policy options, and development priorities in target regions to cope with climate change through the implementation of strategies for mitigation, adaptation and ecosystem resilience.
3. Identify effective mechanisms of partnerships for cooperation between national, regional and international organizations.
4. Mobilize human and financial resources to enhance regional and international cooperation and support research and development activities to cope with climate change .
