The course will focus on building capacities in integrating gender concepts and methodologies in
developing strategies for climate change adaptation and mitigation actions. The course will be conducted
by the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR) with Gender Works. IIRR is an international
development and training organization with over 50 years of grassroots experience working in peoplecentered,
sustainable development. Gender Works leads initiatives in gender, empowerment, and socioeconomic development to promote equality, social
justice and accountability with the goal of empowering individuals and communities, and strengthening programs and institutions.
