October 13th – the International Day for Natural Disaster Reduction - Romania

This year, the anniversary of the day of 13 October – The International Day for Natural Disaster Risk Reduction, the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations „Petrodava” of Neamţ County is keen to support this event by organizing and conducting a series of preventive outreach, targeting elders, as follows:

• Make a poster on the topic significance of this day;
• In all Fire Units of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations „Petrodava” of Neamţ County there will be held an „Open Gates Day” where students in the county will be invited to participate, the action targeting intervention on the art of special vehicles with the possibility to use some of the accessories by participants;
• In collaboration with local authorities of Roman municipality, the Residential Centre for the elderly "House of grandparents" will conduct a non formal training in emergency situations. The action consists of a roundtable dialogue between elders, staying in the center, and students eager to hear their life stories, lived during crisis situations.
