The IRHA is pleased to announce a new training session taking place in September 2010 in Maharashtra, India. The training will develop the capabilities of professionals to implement rainwater harvesting projects and measures for improved food security in micro-farmed, semi-arid regions.

At conclusion of the meeting:

• Participants will be able to formulate and survey similar programmes;
• The participants’ knowledge and awareness of the importance of RWH and at the techniques of micro-farming for the food security at watershed level are increased;
• The participant’s personal and professional networks and contacts are enlarged.
