Objective

The Objective of the conference is to reflect the evolution of the approach to sustainable development in the face of growing concerns about the need for adaptation to climate change and compromised ecosystem services. These concerns are of particular relevance to Sub-Saharan Africa, a region that will bear the brunt of coming environmental challenges while still struggling to meet demands for an improved standard of living.
