About
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in partnership with the Partners for Resilience (PfR) and with support from the European Commission (DG-INTPA) has been implementing a project to scale up Ecosystem-based Disaster Risk Reduction (Eco-DRR) in various countries and communities for enhancing people’s resilience to disasters. Over the last 3 years, UNEP in partnership with the Partners for Resilience (PfR) has developed and demonstrated Eco-DRR models in 5 countries: Ethiopia, Uganda, Haiti, India, and Indonesia.
This webinar is open to everyone and will highlight the following objectives:
- To share results and scalable features of Eco-DRR models implemented in five countries across three continents and broader landscapes.
- To present a Cost-Benefit Analysis of the Eco-DRR field projects.
- To share the various knowledge products developed from the field interventions on Eco-DRR and invite everyone to become part of our Nature-based Solutions/Eco-DRR community.
