To celebrate the International Day for Disaster Reduction 2013, COOPI with Caritas Yurimaguas, Red de salud, Municipalidad de Alto Amazonas, Ministerio de Salud, Corpac Sa, Universidad Nacional Amazonia Peruana, Cuerpo de Bomberos, Autoridad Portuaria Nacional, Policia Nacional and Nabif promotes two contests on disaster risk reduction (DRR). The aim is to raise awareness on DRR both among school children and communities.
