Paraguay, with the help of the Pacific Disaster Center, will undertake a year-long National Disaster Preparedness Baseline Assessment that will facilitate data sharing and risk analysis, and will aid future preparedness and prevention investments. The assessment reflects Paraguay's support of the Sendai Framework.

To improve resilience, local authorities must openly share climate information and invite public input. Climate finance can also step up to fund projects, but gender equality must always be a priority.
