800,000 Zambians to benefit from climate project

The African Development Bank will finance the Zambia Strengthening Climate Resilience project with US$38.72 million (about K212,960). The project will reach 800 thousand people and it aims to reduce poverty and improve food security in rural communities through strengthening capacity to adapt to climate change.

The project has three components: community-driven participatory adaptation; construction and rehabilitation of climate change resilient roads and project management and coordination.
