Researchers supported by the AXA Research Fund discuss with National Geographic Explorer Jon Waterman how to better protect people from extreme weather events.

Reflecting on the case of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, they share their views on trends, learnings and approaches with respect to better predicting those events in the context of climate change and protection approaches at individual and public levels.
