Australia launches DRR initiatives in the Philippines

The Bulletin reports that the Australian government has launched new disaster risk reduction initiatives in the Philippines including mainstreaming, climate change adaptation in local and land use plans and processes, and technical assistance to the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority. Implementing partners include the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Geoscience Australia.
