Australia: Lifeline received funding to build community resilience in remote communities

Lifeline Community Care Queensland will receive $75,000 in State and Federal Government funding towards a $120,000 project aimed at enhancing resilience to natural disasters in remote and isolated areas of Queensland, announces My Sunshine Coast Life. The $44 million program is designed to assist local councils and other organisations better prepare for and mitigate the effects of natural disasters.
