Bangkok flood threat from rising seas

Radio Australia interviews Samith Dharmasaroja, former Thai meteorological department director general; Dr Bhijit Rattakul, executive director, Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre as analysts paint a dire outlook for the city of 10 million.

Several reports say rising sea levels are threatening major river delta regions, including Thailand's Chao Phraya River, and Bangkok itself however but government flood prevention engineers are confident the Thai capital is well prepared to cope with the threat.
