Bangladesh to include DRR in education programme

During a workshop on Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction in Non-Formal Primary Education held under the auspice of Dhaka Ahsania Mission and Concern Universal, Bangladesh Minister for Primary and Mass Education Motahar Hossain said that a subject on disaster risk reduction will be included in the Non-Formal Primary Education (NFPE) programme for the message to reach the country's 82,000 primary school students, says the New Nation.
