The Belize Red Cross is taking the lead in preparatory work towards the development and implementation of a disaster risk reduction project titled "Rural to Urban Disaster Risk Reduction" and which objective is to enhance the capacity of city dwellers in responding to, and mitigating the adverse effects of disasters.
