This piece is about the effect of a small rain season in the south side of Benin had on school children. The children were forced to stop their schooling during that period in fear of falling victims of the flooding, which was worsened by the hydroelectric dam in the region. There was no way for them to get to school also because of the lack of suitable transportation.
