India: Climate change may bring a better harvest

The Hindu reports that according to the communication sent by the Union Ministry of Environment and Forests to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, India's Kerala state may have beneficial effects of the climate change as well. Although sea-level rise will cause problems, the production of certain agricultural products, such as cocoa and coconut will increase. The fisheries sector is expected to see better results as well.
