More than 30 hackers and software engineers from throughout Indonesia have been gathering in central Jakarta to participate in the Jakarta-leg of 'Random Hacks of Kindness' an event intended to create software solutions to reduce the loss of lives and property in disasters.
The event is supported by the Australian government through its Australia-Indonesia Facility for Disaster Reduction (AIFDR), the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), the World Bank and dailysocial.net. The software can be accessed and used free of charge at the website: http://wiki.rhok.org.
