"Pesan Dari Samudra" ("Message From the Ocean") is a 76-minute feature film made by renowned Indonesian filmmakers Mira Lesmana and Riri Riza and funded by the Australia-Indonesia Facility for Disaster Reduction (AIFDR), an initiative from the Australian Red Cross.

“AIFDR was pleased to support this film as it explains what to do, and what not to do, in the case of an earthquake or tsunami,” co-director of AIFDR Matt Hayne said in a statement received by the Jakarta Globe blogs. The film will be aired on Metro TV, Dec. 29, height years after the devastating tsunami struck Indonesia on Dec. 26, 2004.
