Speaking at a workshop on 'Strengthening Partnerships for Disaster Risk Reduction', the Director General of the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management, Ronald Jackson, underscored the importance of establishing partnerships and building synergies among stakeholders, in the effort to strengthen Jamaica's disaster management programme.
