Japan offers new technology to help city prevent floods

"The Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA) is offering the city a solution for its long-standing flood problem by building underground reservoirs using Japanese technology," reports the Jakarta Post. As Jakarta does not have the green space to create rainwater catchments, new reservoirs will be created underground.
