Skopje hosts the 2nd meeting of the European forum for disaster risk reduction (EFDRR) from October 10 to 12 which is currently chaired by the Republic of Macedonia, reports EMG. The 2011 Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, climate change, forest fire prevention, disaster risk reduction through ecosystems management will be discussed at the meeting.
