Natural disaster early warning information center set up in China

China established a national early warning information center on Monday to better inform the public of natural disasters and other emergencies, reports Global Times.

Zheng Guoguang, head of the China Meteorological Administration said the center will step up cooperation with major telecom operators and portal websites to ensure the public receives the early warning information effectively and efficiently.
