Nepal: For earthquake-resilient buildings

Punya Sagar Marahatta reports on the community-based disaster risk management (CBDRM) approach to building resilient communities - particularly of earthquake-resilient buildings- for The Himalayan Times. Marahatta asserts that even though people at the community level are aware of the importance to build resilient buildings, this may not be feasible financially. "Awareness at the community level is not the challenge, rather challenges are the resources to build resilience."
